Aloxe Corton Premier Cru 'les Petites Lolières'
Situated on a stony hillside at the foot of the Corton mountain, between the Côtes de Nuit and Beaune, the village of Aloxe-Corton has one of the most northerly vineyards in the Côte de Beaune. The climat ‘Les petites Lolières’ is located on a path that leads down from the Combe des Buis to the source of the Lauve. It is said that this path was once used by wolves who came to drink.

2019

The 2019 Aloxe-Corton Les Petites Lolières 1er cru is fragrant and floral on the nose, scents of iris petals and incense neatly entwined with the predominantly red fruit. The palate is well balanced with sappy cranberry and raspberry fruit, touches of clove and a light briny element towards its compact finish. This is a well-crafted Aloxe-Corton that will benefit from two years in bottle, but should give several years of drinking pleasure.
